subwaydouchery: SUBWAY DOUCHERY : The Last Goodbye In a city full of cynics… it’s beautiful to see a group of young people saying goodbye to their old friend… The W Train. New York City has recently discontinued service of certain trains and the W line was one of the casualties. So this group of passionate young adults decided to bid adieu in style. And by “bid adieu” I mean “pile into one train car, get really drunk, rub up against each other, and sing partial choruses to sentimental pop songs”. … they quickly learned that Oasis’s hit song Wonderwall has a bunch of lyrics that are hard to remember after you’ve been drinking vodka out of a gatorade bottle for a couple of hours. But when in doubt, star ‘er over “Today is gonna be the day….” Greatest achievement of the night? When they realized that the classic West Side/Coast Finger W would also be perfectly apt addition to any picture taken during the course of the evening. *** This picture came from The Douchery Reserve. I just happened to stumble upon the train at the exact right moment in Union Square Station. What a night! Keep on Douchin’ ***  We should have started a “Hey, Jude” sing-a-long on the V.
